Mounted Jewellery Testing
The activities include:
- Identify the gems, perform the tests to determine the enhancement /treatment and country of origin (when determinable) of the gems in the mounted jewellery
- Take measurement of the gems and count the total number of gems in the jewellery
- Calculate the approximate carat weight of the main gem insofar measurement permits and estimate the surrounding stones
- Issue report to the jewellery including all the items that were tested.
